One of the most challenging aspects of this project was demolishing the old wall and walkway without disturbing the house’s foundation. Precise demolition was necessary to protect the structure while clearing the way for a more open landscape design. With the old walkway and wall cleared away, we began creating a new stoop, steps, and front walkway using the bluestone slate pavers.
