Grill Island and Bar Area
The center of the transformation was the construction of a beautiful and functional custom grill island and bar area with a custom laser-measured granite countertop. Granite adds a touch of luxury to the outdoor space, while its durability and low porosity make it the ideal choice for outdoor countertops.We wanted the countertop to become a beacon that draws guests in and invites them to linger a little longer.
With our client's preference for quality appliances, we ensured their specialty grill fit perfectly into the island, and included space for a future outdoor refrigerator as well. We used durable materials and designed the space to their specifications. Every aspect of the hardscape design and transformation - from space allotted to a future outdoor refrigerator to seamless indoor and outdoor space integration - everything was tailored to enhance both functionality and aesthetics.
Bridging the Indoors & Outdoors
Our client wanted a space where the boundaries between indoors and outdoors blend seamlessly. The patio surrounding the 3-season room was designed to be a bridge between the indoor living area and outdoor entertainment space. We used Beaconhill Smooth pavers by Unilock to create a stylish base, adding an elegant touch to the flooring. The natural garden landscape design along the edges brought pops of color and texture, making the patio feel like a lively oasis.
Natural landscaping was added around all the edges and in the back corner to add some life, texture, color and interest to the outdoor patio space. As the hydrangeas and shrubs bloom and change colors throughout the season, it will brighten up the space and give it character.
